Research and development
To contribute to innovative technologies in construction, our office is involved in various research and development projects.
Research is done in the field of non-linear numerical analysis of load-bearing structures. It aims at reproducing cracking, instabilities, damages, vibration and failure of structures. Development is done in the field of structure optimization, tensegrity structures and retrofitting, rehabilitation or reassignment of structures. Work is also done to apply sustainable development principles in urban planning and land use models.
Research is done in collaboration with universities, technical schools and material testing laboratories.
In 2014, to draw a full picture of the first 10 years of its existence, the office has created a publishing firm called INGPHI Press. It is fully dedicated to publications about the constructed environment.
