Start of special works for new elevator pits and renovation of the mineral facades – time for height testing

Special works have begun with the construction of a jetting excavation enclosure, required due to the presence of groundwater beneath the foundation slab. At the same time, new deep piles are being installed to bear the loads of the future elevator shafts.

As part of the renovation of the mineral facades, the scaffolding around the building allows teams to test and adjust intervention prototypes. These tests focus in particular on color selection and surface texture, to ensure a harmonious and faithful integration with the original aesthetic of this heritage-listed building.
