The roadway is free!

Reinforced concrete works ended at the end of September with the execution of the last curbs on Bern-side and the placement of the last UHPFRC-struts. The waterproofing and pavement layers work phases followed during the month of October. During the same period, the rehabilitation of the existing concrete elements and the placement of the bridge equipment (technical and drainage pipelines) was completed under the bridge.

The following weeks were dedicated to public infrastructure works with the execution of sidewalks and street blocks, the placement of the road signs and various finishing works. The goal was to completely reopen the roadway to users within the timeframe given by the bridge owner.
