Results of the competition for the New Children’s Hospital Project

The multidisciplinary team composed of the offices AETC, Fiona Pia Architects and INGPHI – Concepteurs d’ouvrages d’art wins 1st prize and 1st place in the parallel study mandate organized by the Lausanne Children’s Hospital Foundation for the realization of the new child psychiatric hospital which will also house a daycare center, a research center, archives, a community pediatrics center and health promotion spaces on the Montétan site in Lausanne.

The winning project proposes to organize the buildings around a room of nature intended for the therapeutic treatment of children by adopting design lines and construction techniques that respect the environment, biodiversity and nature.
