“A wooden heart and a glass body for Nyon’s sports”
Batimag magazine has dedicated an article to our flagship project: the new multi-sports complex in Colovray, Nyon. Located at the western entrance of the city, this innovative building combines timber, concrete, and glass to create a modern and sustainable space for sports.
At the heart of the project: a triple sports hall of 1,876 m² for basketball, handball, and gymnastics, a dojo with views of Lake Geneva, a fitness room, multipurpose spaces, and retractable stands for up to 2,000 spectators. The architecture draws inspiration from Vaud’s agricultural hangars, featuring a dual-pitched roof and timber façades with rhythmic screens.
The complex stands out for its vast glazed surfaces, a roof equipped with 2,764 m² of photovoltaic panels, and an eco-friendly approach aimed at reducing its carbon footprint. A true “house of sports” designed for local clubs, competitions, and national events.
