Presentation of the Maison des Sports project at timber events

The Maison des Sports in Colovray, a timber construction project in Switzerland, was recently highlighted during two major industry events. It was first presented at the Swiss Wood Day, organized by the Bois Suisse label, which annually brings together the main stakeholders of the timber sector. The 2025 edition focused on wood transformation. On this occasion, the presentation emphasized the “propre bois” procedure used for the structural framework and facade of Colovray.

The project was also presented at the Timber Construction Day at the Palais des Congrès in Biel. This annual event brings together architects, civil engineers, carpenters, as well as representatives from research and education.

The day revolved around three themes – natural, efficient, and robust – which perfectly reflect the design of the timber framework of the Maison des Sports.
