After 2 months and a half of works, phase 2.1 has ended. To adapt the width of the bridge, the cantilevers on Vevey side were strengthen using UHPFRC struts. New curbs were built, while all security elements as well as the waterproofing layers were changed.

Off the road, underground services and final landscaping of the ramps was finished. At the same time, rehabilitation of the concrete surfaces as well as replacement of all electro-mechanical equipment is ongoing on the deck suspended under the bridge.

Works will continue with phase 2.2 and the replacement of the waterproofing layer on the central part of the bridge deck.
