“The Evolving Metropolis” congress in New York

New York City will host the 2019 IABSE annual conference with “The Evolving Metropolis” as a main theme.

The organizers invite the world’s structural engineering community to share their experiences and discuss the future of the profession.

This congress addresses the social and economic needs of the world. With sessions on various important issues such as affordable housing and durable bridges.

INGPHI will attend this event and present the rehabilitation project of Paudèze bridges on highway A9, owned by FEDRO and established with Lig-A pool. The paper is entitled: “Strengthening Paudèze bridges decks using UHPFRC struts” by Philippe Menétrey, Lionel Moreillon and Maléna Bastien-Masse.
