INGPHI engineering office has won the 2nd price of the design competition for the Hauterive Bridge on the new Marly-Matran road link.

The proposed bridge has the same truss structure on its full length to create unity. The trail for active mobility is placed underneath the road, in order to reduce the total width of the bridge.

The transparent truss preserves the view on the valley and creates a dialogue with nature. The light plays in the shapes of the truss creating shades and movement.

The materials chosen for the structure also dialogue with nature as the deck for the active mobility trail is made of swiss wood.
