Construction works continue in Magglingen

The first part of the construction works on the Training Hall in Magglingen has been completed. To reach the bottom of the excavation, almost 8000 m3 had to be excavated, mostly in the limestone rock. Nailed walls and steep slopes were used around the excavation. In the rock, the walls are secured by geogrids.

For the next step of the construction works, two high cranes were set up to cope with the sloping terrain bordered by forest.

In August, works have continued with the pipes under the foundation and the first concreting.
