Building without paper plans
Around the evolution of BIM, INGPHI is developing, for the Chrysalide project in Châtel-St-Denis, in collaboration with Grisoni-Zaugg SA, a digital construction method without paper plans. By modeling the building and the rebars in 3D, all the useful information for the construction is integrated in the model.
As a pilot phase, rebars were laid in a concrete slab based on the model visualized with tablets and screens on site without paper plans.
This innovation increases efficiency and precision through a more intuitive visualization of the elements to build. The transition to digitalization is underway, traditional plans will be replaced by such digital models. This development bodes well for the future.
