Prefabrication and installation of the first beam

The construction site for the replacement of the Redoute overpass is progressing. After the completion of the deep foundations, the work continues with the prefabrication of the first reinforced concrete beam. The deck of the existing bridge is being used as a working surface to build the 30 m long and 3.50 m high element.

The first beam will be placed in its final position during a one night operation scheduled in April, freeing the space for the construction of the second beam.
