With only seven months left to go before the commissioning of the Léman Express and the Chêne-Bourg station, the public spaces project has entered a new phase.
The underground structures – retention basin and bicycle station – have been completed and work is now focused on surface landscaping.
Avenue Baud has been widened and its layout adapted for the creation of a new bus lane. Bel-Air Avenue is being restored in phases to allow continuous traffic.
The first concrete paving stones for the open space in front of the new station and the bicycle path are being laid.
