The concrete construction work of the expansion of the New Apostolic Church in Lausanne has reached an end. The large shells made of exposed white concrete were executed using a formwork covered by wood boards. The formworks of these shells were recently removed and the roof slab was concreted. This slab is pleated inwards to follow the geometry of the shells. This added geometrical complexity required thorough studies and drawings.
