During winter, the bridges decks were reinforced by adding additional external prestressing and a layer of reinforced UHPFRC at the connection between the webs and the lower slab of the box girders. The decking underneath the upstream cantilevers and underneath the deck of the lake-side bridge were also erected.

At the start of the month of April, works on the highway could continue. The road overlay was milled, and the old waterproofing layer was removed. The curbs were saw cut and the concrete of the extremity of the slab was removed with high pressure water jets to preserve the rebars. At the end of the month of May, the first UHPFRC struts were concreted in place.
