End of the earthworks and beginning of the structural work

The Transports publics fribourgeois Immobilier (TPF IMMO) SA is building four new buildings for shops, offices and housing near the new railway station of Châtel-St-Denis. The construction complex is composed of four perimeters – A, B, C, and D.

In perimeter A, the structural work is in progress. The basement slab, which serves both as a transitional slab and as a driveable slab for the TPF buses, has been concreted. The loads of the seven floors above are taken up by this transition slab reinforced with reinforced concrete beams.

In perimeter D, the piling works and the earthworks have been completed. The pile walls, located in front of the existing station and the neighbouring buildings, are composed of soldier-pile walls and underpinnings.
