The work begins!

Construction work on the footbridge began in early May 2021 with the clearing of land and earthworks. The footings of the Morges abutment have been concreted and the structural work, carried out by the company Grisoni-Zaugg SA, is continuing.

At the same time, the steel structure of the deck is being manufactured in the Morand & Fils SA workshops in Enney. A prototype of the guardrail has been presented to the client.

Once painted, the footbridge will be transported in 3 parts from the workshops to the construction site for a night installation during a one-off operation planned for mid-September.
