Digital construction of the last two buildings

The company Transports publics fribourgeois Immobilier (TPF IMMO) SA is building a complex of housing, shops and tertiary activities near the new railway station in Châtel-St-Denis. The project is managed by Groupe Grisoni and was designed by EMA architects in collaboration with the civil engineering firm INGPHI SA and the engineers CVSE SRG SA.

A total of six buildings will make up the new railway station area. The structural work on the last two buildings has begun and is progressing rapidly.

The structure is made of reinforced concrete, and after a successful pilot phase, the paper-based execution plans are being completely replaced by digital formwork and rebard models based on BIM modelling. On site, the construction company visualises the models using fixed screens and tablets. The digitisation of construction is taking a major step forward.
