Rehabilitation of the Grand Bridge

Completion of the work

The Grand Bridge underwent major reinforcement and sanitation work during the year 2022.

The work is being completed with the installation of the railings. The historic panels, true works of art, which date from the first enlargement in 1891, have been restored. Only the uprights and the candelabras had to be remoulded in cast iron.

The end of the work on the railings will allow the Grand-Pont to be put back into service, scheduled for early December.
