The assembly of the framework is completed

The structural work on the St-Cergue Hall is nearing completion with the installation of the framework. The wooden structure is composed of under-tension frames with the particularity of suspending the floor of the dormitories located above the sports hall. This load-bearing system was developed to limit the total height of the building. The framework is composed of columns, crossbeams and panels in Jura spruce and sub-struts in glued Swiss ash slats. The elements were prefabricated in the workshop so that assembly on site took less than a month.
