Begun in January 2024, the reinforcement and underpinning work on the Madeleine 9 building in Geneva is nearing completion. In order to withstand the project’s loads, the existing slabs were reinforced with CFUP and anti-punching reinforcement. Underpinning with jacking was also carried out to remove a column from the lower floors. Some metal pillars also had to be reinforced.
